Memorial services to celebrate the life of Dr. Laura Jean Morgan Pruett, 82, of Camden, SC, will be held at 3:00 PM, Thursday, May 29, 2014, at Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church in Camden. Rev. Steve Patterson will officiate. The family will receive friends in the Family Life Center following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Dr. Pruett may be made to Lyttleton United Methodist Church, 1206 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020; Community Medical Clinic of Kershaw County, 110 E. Dr. Pruett, widow of Robert Ryland Pruett, died Monday, May 26, 2014. She was born in Carrollton, GA, the daughter of the late Laura Beatrice Latimer Morgan Lovvorn and James Thomas Morgan. She retired after 28 years of teaching at Camden High School and was a member of Lyttleton Street United Methodist Church.

Dr. Pruett is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Donnie Wilson of Camden; and grandchildren, Justin, Brian and Sarah Wilson.
