David Alan Wirt, 56, widower of Cynthia Wirt, of Camden, SC, died Thursday, April 24, 2014. A memorial service will be held at a later date. He was born in Greensboro, NC, the son of the late Stanlia Altizer Wirt and R. J. Wirt. David was a former employee of Cogsdill Tool Company and was a construction worker. He attended Lakeview Baptist Church and loved music and spending time with friends.

 David is survived by his sons, David A. Wirt Jr., and Russell J. Wirt, both of Camden; his sister, Sara Haynes of Jonesborough, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.
